It was roughly 2 years ago when we set up shop on the corner of Edgewood + Boulevard, with high hopes for this raw beauty of an avenue. Here we are 2 years and many long, lovely nights hence, and our corner has truly grown up.

So.. We celebrate. But how?

Well, first we’ll need something to drink. Check. Cocktail specials will be flowing copiously all night long. Next, we’ll need a feast. Check. We’ll be serving delectable delicacies late into the evening. Now, how about some music?

Jazzanova will be gracing us with their rarified presence, delivering all that eclectic goodness that has become their signature. If you need an introduction, or even a refresher, you need look no further.

Cosmo Baker, co-creator of The Rub, NYC’s venerable monthly clubnight, has built a bulletproof reputation as one of the world’s most gifted and respected selectors. Connecting the dots between funk, soul, disco, house, reggae, hip-hop and just about any genre you care to name, Cosmo has an inimitable knack for wrecking dancefloors and making folks lose their minds. Tuesday March 6 come celebrate BOSCO’s album release, as well as Brittany’s cover story in this month’s edition of Eidé magazine. Cocktails start pouring in Space2 at 7pm, with sounds from Dj Speakerfoxxx, along with a live performance from BOSCO.

This Thursday night at the Sound Table, we celebrate the opening of KAWS: DOWN TIME, now on view at the High Museum of Art. Your djs on the night will be Mike Zarin + Karl Injex, with music beginning at 11pm.

We’re all very excited about this exhibition, and encourage you to get over to the High to enjoy this deftly curated selection of paintings, drawings and sculptural work.

Âme are German duo Kristian Beyer & Frank Wiedemann. Inspired by the music of Stevie Wonder, WestEnd Records, Transmat, Weather Report and Herbie Hancock, they describe their output as ‘Detroit-influenced deep house and music with soul’.

Propelled by the early success of their 1995 hit ‘Rej’, the duo has amassed a prodigious international following, and an equally impressive catalog of original music and remixes.

We’re proud to present Âme in the intimate environment of Space2, a rare treat to be sure. Warmart’s own Mark Lippert handles opening duties.
