Dinner with ‘the Gubna’, Wednesday 5/16

You are cordially invited to join us as we welcome ‘the Gubna‘ himself, Chris Katechis to present an evening with Oskar Blues Brewery. Chef Joey Zelinka will be serving a five-course tasting menu, each course being paired delectably with a selection from the Oskar Blues repertoire.

‘The Gubna’ will be tapping something special for the evening’s proceedings, along with more thana decade’s worth of anecdotes from the field. This 5-Course Tasting Menu w/ pairings is available for $40 a seat (tax & gratuity not included). Passed appetizers begin at 7pm. Contact us at gubna@thesoundtable.com to reserve your seats.

It was roughly 2 years ago when we set up shop on the corner of Edgewood + Boulevard, with high hopes for this raw beauty of an avenue. Here we are 2 years and many long, lovely nights hence, and our corner has truly grown up.

So.. We celebrate. But how?

Well, first we’ll need something to drink. Check. Cocktail specials will be flowing copiously all night long. Next, we’ll need a feast. Check. We’ll be serving delectable delicacies late into the evening. Now, how about some music?

Jazzanova will be gracing us with their rarified presence, delivering all that eclectic goodness that has become their signature. If you need an introduction, or even a refresher, you need look no further.

We want to thank you for making 2011 an exceptional year for us here at the Sound Table. We’ve enjoyed keeping your appetites sated, and your feet moving. Your support has been overwhelming, and has brought us numerous accolades including Atlanta Magazine’s 50 Best Restaurants and Food and Wine’s 50 Best Bars in America. Moving into 2012, we’re looking forward to developing our latest creative endeavor Space2, and continuing to hone our food, bar and music programs at ST.

We bid a warm farewell to 2011, and we look forward to sharing 2012 with you all.
